Premier Education Society, registered under the Societies’ Registration Act XXI of 1860, was founded through the visionary efforts of Mr. A. M. Kewalramani, who laid the foundation of the Society with the goal of providing quality education to the community. Under its aegis, Premier High School was first established in Karachi in 1935.
Following the partition of India, the Society was re-registered under the same Act, as well as under the Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950 (Bom XXIX of 1950). It was through the determined leadership and foresight of Mr. G. A. Kewalramani that the school was re-established in Mumbai in the year 1949, ensuring the continuity of its educational mission. The institution was later renamed in his honour as A.M.
Kewalramani Premier High School, recognizing his instrumental role in its foundation and growth in the city.
To extend the reach of quality education at a moderate cost, the idea of Trinity High School was conceptualized and brought to life by Shri M. C. Mankani.
Although the schools are established by the Sindhi linguistic minority community, our vision and mission are firmly rooted in making world-class education accessible to all, regardless of background.

Shri. A.M. Kewalramani was a remarkably clear-minded man with a vision of establishing a High school, which would achieve name and fame and rank as the best in the Province. He worked incessantly hard to translate his vision into a reality and to achieve his goal. On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the Coronation of King George V, in the very first year of the starting of the School, Shri A.M. Kewalramani was awarded a Gold Medal by the Government of Bombay for his remarkable and outstanding services in the field of education – the only Principal in Sind to be so honoured.

The life of G. A. Kewalramani wShrias so inextricably entwined with the history of the Premier High School that it is hard to disentangle one from the other. He had a record of distinguished and meritorious service of over 41 years. He had been able to create confidence and establish general esteem and appreciation for the school in the minds of not only the students and their parents but even the officials of the State Government and the Municipal Corporation Education Department and the public at large. He identified himself with the institution and had been its builder from every point of view.
